Hello,

I hope someone here might be able to
help me. I am looking for an old piece of horror fiction. The story
revolves around a grisly murder, committed by a straight razor
wielding ape, which stuffed the corpse up the chimney. I know it was
turned into quite a good black and white film back in the day.

I love old horror fiction like this and
it is driving me up the wall not being able to remember the name of
this particular one (I swear my age is catching up to me). Hopefully
someone here knows which book I am talking about. Thank you in
